🏡📉 News You Might Have Been Waiting for is Finally here - home mortgage rates are down!

We’re seeing the 30-yr fixed rate at 6.85%

The Chief Economist for the National Association of REALTORS® shared that, “Due to the already low mortgage rates compared to spring, the purchasing power for home buyers has been lifted by around $50,000 for those with a $2,000 monthly mortgage payment budget.

Consumers who were priced out due to earlier higher mortgage rates could now be back in the market.”

🏡 This is big news for buyers! As your rate can impact both the overall amount of home you qualify for along with what you’re monthly payment looks like. ​ 📌 It's also significant for homeowners and sellers as well. As more buyers enter the market, this could be a prime time to list your home. However, it could also mean more competition, as more sellers list their homes as well.

That's why it's even more important to work with a knowledgeable agent (like me!) who can help advise you on navigating the market.

So, if you’ve been thinking about whether this fall is the right time to make a move, today’s lower interest rates are welcome news for many!
